Independence first

BestEmailFor is an independent review site. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any email marketing platform we cover. Our rankings are determined solely by our evaluation criteria — not by who pays us.

How we test

Every platform we review is tested hands-on by our editorial team. Our evaluation covers:

• Ease of use — onboarding, UI clarity, learning curve
• Email builder — drag-and-drop quality, template variety, mobile preview
• Automation — visual workflow builder, trigger types, segmentation depth
• Deliverability — sender reputation tools, spam testing, authentication support
• Analytics — reporting dashboards, A/B testing, conversion tracking
• Integrations — native CRM, e-commerce, and third-party app connections
• Pricing — value at each tier, free plan limits, cost per 1,000 contacts
• Support — response times, documentation quality, live chat availability

Scoring

Each platform receives a score from 1–5 across the criteria above. Scores are weighted by importance: deliverability and automation carry more weight than aesthetics. We revisit scores quarterly or when a platform releases major updates.

Pricing, features, and rankings change fast in SaaS. We update our content when platforms release significant changes, and we always show the date a page was last reviewed. If you spot an error, contact us and we'll fix it within 48 hours.
